Front-lit channel letters illuminate through the face of each letter, creating a bright and highly visible sign. The face is made from 3 mm milky acrylic, with colour achieved using coloured acrylic or specialized translucent film when a specific shade is required.
Halo-Lit Channel Letters
Halo-lit, also known as backlit or reverse-lit channel letters, project light toward the wall behind the letters. The reflected light creates a glowing outline around each letter for a clean and dimensional appearance.
Front & Halo-Lit Channel Letters
Front & halo-lit channel letters combine illuminated faces with rear halo lighting. This creates two layers of illumination and gives the sign a stronger three-dimensional visual effect, especially after dark.
How Our Channel Letters Are Made
Each channel letter sign is built for the specific project rather than from a single standard construction. Depending on the sign design, installation conditions, and project requirements, the letter bodies are made from either aluminum or specialized high-strength plastic designed for outdoor use and resistance to weather and sun exposure.
Letter Faces
Front-lit letters use 3 mm milky acrylic faces to create smooth, even illumination. When a coloured face is required, we use coloured acrylic when the desired shade is available. For colours that are not available in acrylic, white milky acrylic can be finished with specialized translucent film, providing a much wider range of colour options.
LED Lighting
Our illuminated channel letters use premium, energy-efficient LED modules rated for up to 50,000 hours of operation. The lighting system is selected and arranged according to the size and construction of the letters to provide reliable illumination throughout the sign.
